Adam had never been there and is an avid fisher so he was SOO excited.
Ironically, not a single bite! (we're talking fish here)
But we still had lots of fun boating, knee boarding, deer riding, and playing Scrabble.
Then on the day we left, the pier collapsed with everybody on it except me and Adam.
Yes, that means Iyla was on it. But her big Uncle Phoenix protected her the best he could and she only ended up biting her tongue. Still, as a mom, that was horrifying to watch.
She loves grabbing people's eyes, and she loved her grandpa. She was just showing some affection:)
Adam bought this ridiculous straw hat to keep the sun out of his eyes. And when he about sunk the mouse boat with Adam and lost both of their glasses, the straw hat survived...
