We went to our Stanton pond today to do a little casting.
I did the usual: five casts and then quit, a quick tick check, then put the pole in the Jeep.
I retired to taking pictures instead, since I have no patience for fish,
let alone pond fish.

Oh, and this is our little snake friend.
I've yet to name him because I haven't found anything fitting.
But he slithers from tree to tree finding the perfect spot to sunbathe.
Today he found a branch really close to shore.
Lucky for me, because I only had a 100mm lens, so I was just about two feet from him.
