My love for photography started in high school when I was part of the yearbook committee. My parents bought me a Canon Digital Rebel XTi that year and I couldn't put it down! I have been taking pictures ever since and am just starting to dive into the semi-professional arena. I recently upgraded my Rebel for a Canon EOS 7D. Love it!
I currently live in Red Oak, IA with my boyfriend and our beautiful daughter, Iyla, born August 10, 2009. I love being a mom and it keeps me very busy. We have another baby due in March 2012! I also work part time as an RN. I am originally from Wisconsin and a cheese head at heart!
My photography is very simple: you + natural lighting = real. I do minimal editing to my pictures and try to make things look as natural as possible. My goal is to make you comfortable during your session so you are able to be yourself. I am not a fan of cheesy posing!
